Ben: Hoping Dallas Cowboys Take Juan Thornhill In NFL Draft

With the 58th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, I’m hoping the Dallas Cowboys take safety Juan Thornhill, from Virginia.

Their needs, beyond replacing Jeff Heath in the starting line up, are not really urgent short term needs about the 2019 season.

They could use a better back up RB to spell Zeke, their future slot WR (Cobb, 1-yr deal), their future TE (Witten, 1-yr deal), cornerback depth with Jones & Brown’s futures here in question (contractually) — same scenario at DT.

But as always, if a bargain edge rusher slips to you at any point, you have to jump on it.

There aren’t many immediate needs, but they absolutely do need to keep an eye on future roster construction as they draft this year.
