TCU To Sell Beer At College Baseball Games

April 30, 2018 - 10:30 am

FORT WORTH (105.3 THE FAN) - Good news for fans of TCU baseball and beer, an adult beverage is now available to enjoy at the ballpark.

For the rest of the Horn Frogs season, fans can watch the game with a beer in hand.

TCU's Athletic Director says they're rolling out this pilot program in response to many people's requests for beer at the games, and they're hoping it improves the experience at the ballpark.

Officials say beer will be sold starting when the gates open an hour before the first pitch. Sales will be cut off at the top of the seventh inning.

The first test of beer sales is Wednesday night as TCU takes on Dallas Baptist.

At the end of the season, officials will take a look at beer sales to see if the program is worth continuning.
