DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Stars are home at last. They couldn't get here quick enough, it seems.

The "road trip from hell" as described by Tyler Seguin ended Tuesday night with the Stars' sixth straight loss.

Luckily for Dallas, they remain just two points behind the Anaheim Ducks for the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference. The Stars do have their work cut out for them, however, as Anaheim does have one extra game to play.

Dallas knows if they are going to make the playoffs, it's gotta start with players on the second, third and fourth lines.

"We have to get more people contributing...We can't have these same guys do it every night, night in and night out, and not have more people fall in place," Stars head coach Ken Hitchcock said after the loss Tuesday.

The Stars will look to get back on track on home ice Friday night against the Boston Bruins.
