DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Jerry Jones' decision to hold Cowboys training camp in Oxnard, California, over the last several years could pay huge dividends this weekend.

The Cowboys benefitted from the Philadelphia Eagles win over the Chicago Bears in a big way over the weekend as they avoided a trip to New Orleans for at least another week. Instead, Dallas gets to go to Los Angeles and play in front of a crowd filled with their own fans.

With a rather large fan base in Southern California, Dallas is hopeful that they'll have a lot of support in LA Memorial Coliseum Saturday Night.

"Well, we certainly hope so. I know the Rams are building a following out there. They got a tremendous team with a lot of stars but they're just getting out there going again, and hopefully, that'll pay off for us," Stephen Jones said on 105.3 The Fan this morning. "We've been going just north of L.A. for quite some time to Oxnard. Hopefully, some of those tickets will be floating around and end up in the hands of Cowboys' fans. It won't hopefully be quite the environment that it was down in New Orleans if we went down there.
