Son Of Former Cowboys Quarterback Babe Laufenberg Dies Following Cancer Battle

DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - Luke Laufenberg, the youngest son of former Dallas Cowboys' quarterback and Cowboys' football radio announcer Babe Laufenberg, died after a nearly two-year battle with cancer.

Even though he was battling Burkett’s Lymphoma., of which he was diagnosed in December of 2017, he was ready to play football this coming season at the University of Texas of El Paso with a full scholarship to play tight end.

Luke was declared cancer-free in May of 2018, but cancer returned in April of this year. He was informed in July his illness was terminal.

Luke Laufenberg was 21-years-old.
