DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The results of the MRI on Joey Gallo's injured wrist were inconclusive, TR Sullivan of MLB.com reports. However, the club fears that he may have a broken hamate bone.

Sullivan adds that Gallo will see a hand specialist in Dallas and that it's likely he'll land on the injured list.

Should Gallo need to go on the IL, Willie Calhoun will be the favorite to be called up.

Gallo exited Tuesday night's 7-2 win over the Seattle Mariners in the eighth inning with a sore wrist, which has been bothering him for a while, manager Chris Woodward said. Gallo initially had an  X-ray after coming out of the game, and the results were negative.

Gallo wasn't in the lineup for the series finale this afternoon at T-Mobile Park.
