FRISCO (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys are looking to add some depth to their defensive line in the form of a former second-round pick.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Cowboys have scheduled a visit Tuesday with defensive end Kony Ealy.

Ealy, a former second-round selection of the Carolina Panthers, has bounced around the league in his four NFL seasons.

The Missouri alum spent three seasons in Carolina before being sent to the New England Patriots in an offseason trade. Ealy was ultimately cut from New England and was claimed off waivers by the New York Jets.

Ealy started four out of the 15 games he appeared in with New York. He had one sack in limited action. He accumulated 15 sacks over his four seasons in the NFL.

He's most known for his performance in Super Bowl 50 when he sacked Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning three times, intercepted a pass, and forced a fumble.

According to Mike Fisher of 105.3 The Fan, the Cowboys were interested in drafting Ealy in 2014 but opted to select defensive Demarcus Lawrence instead.
