ARLINGTON (105.3 THE FAN)- The Texas Rangers have traded Nomar Mazara and acquired one of the Chicago White Sox top prospects in former Oklahoma Sooner and Prosper native Steele Walker.

As a junior in 2018, Walker was as a semi-finalist for the Golden Spikes Award. He was named to the All-Big 12 First Team. He finished his junior year with .352 batting average with 13 home runs and 53 RBIs.

Considered one of the top prospects for the 2018 Major League Baseball draft, he was selected 46th overall by the Chicago White Sox.
