April 25, 2018 - 12:48 pm

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Rangers manager Jeff Banister has revealed the club's interim plans for the infield after Adrian Beltre strained his hamstring in Tuesday night's loss to the A's.

In his weekly conversation with the GBAG Nation on 105.3 The Fan, Banister says the club will move rookie Isiah Kiner-Falefa over to third base and Drew Robinson will shift to second for the foreseeable future. Jurickson Profar will continue to play shortstop, while Joey Gallo will continue to get time in left field and at first base when Ronald Guzman isn't in the lineup.

The Rangers will know the extent of Beltre's injury after he undergoes an MRI on Wednesday.
