DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Who will be the next NFL coach to lose their job? You can now place your bets after the odds were re-set when the Washington Redskins elected to fire Jay Gruden on Monday morning.

To the surprise of no one, SportsLine has Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn as the favorite to be the next coach to be fired at 3/1. What is surprising is the second name on the list ... Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett.

Owner Jerry Jones has been a staunch supporter of Garrett throughout his tenure with the team, and now certainly isn't the time to bail on the head coach. Should Jones finally make the decision to pull the plug on Garrett (he won't), it wouldn't likely occur until the offseason.

The Garrett-led Cowboys have lost back to back games to the Drew Brees-less Saints and the Packers after starting the season with three straight wins over the Redskins, Giants, and Dolphins. All three of those teams have a combined record of 2-12, while the Saints and Packers are a combined 8-2.

In Sunday's loss to the Packers, Garrett drew a 15-yard penalty for using abusive language towards an official.

Garrett joined Shan and RJ this morning to discuss the call and what happened in the loss. You can listen to the interview below:
