ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) - A second professional sports team has announced that it will be moving into Globe Life Park, now that it is being vacated by the Texas Rangers.

The North Texas Soccer Club has announced that it will play its home matches at Globe Life Park beginning next year.

North Texas Soccer Club is owned and operated by FC Dallas and plays in USL League One, which is on the third level of the U.S. soccer pyramid, behind USL Championship and Major League Soccer.

The former Major League Baseball park will also be home to the Dallas Renegades of the XFL, beginning in February.

Soon, work will begin in retrofitting Globe Life Park so that it can accommodate the dimensions of a football field and a soccer pitch.
