No Structural Damage Found In Travis Frederick's Shoulder

August 15, 2018 - 2:39 pm

(UPDATE: 8:00 p.m.): According to 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher, no structural damage was found inside Cowboys center Travis Frederick's shoulder.

Frederick confirmed it's just "stingers" that are giving his shoulder some trouble.

OXNARD (105.3 The Fan) - Dallas Cowboys center Travis Frederick is away from the team to get his shoulder evaluated, head coach Jason Garrett said Wednesday.

Frederick has been dealing with stingers, Garrett says, and is meeting with a specialist in Los Angeles. Garrett declined to say if surgery was an option.

A source tells 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher that the team "feels good" about the stinger problem, despite sending Frederick for a visit with Dr. Robert Watkins.

The club expects to have an update on his status later today.
