DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - When the Dallas Cowboys signed DE Michael Bennett, his brother Martellus - a former Cowboys player himself, said that Dallas was the best place for him to play.

"I thought it would be a good place to play, becasue really, it’s about playing a 4-3 defense for him" said Martellus Bennett to The Fan's Shan & RJ show.

The Dallas Cowboys drafted Marty B in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft after playing college football at Texas A&M.  Bennett also played in the NFL for the New York Giants, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots.

“I told him there’s no place like playing for the Cowboys fans, that stadium, and the organization is top class” said Bennett.

Marty B also told Shan & RJ that he likes Jason Garrett, but didn’t like playing for him.

“I didn’t like playing for Jason and I told him why, and he kind of understood that" said Bennett. "I was young at that time too. It would probably be different if I was an older player.”

Turning back to questions of his brother Michael being able to move inside, "That’s what makes him special. His best thing is he gets disruptive plays. He may not make a tackle, but he blows up the play."
