DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Euroleague star Luka Doncic, who could be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, says he may stay in Europe after this season.

Ahead of his team's (Real Madrid) playoff game against CSKA Moscow, Doncic told reporters he was still undecided about whether he'll stay in Spain or leave for the United States.

"Ι'm not sure if these are my last two games [in EuroLeague]," Doncic said via "We have yet to make this decision. Perhaps after the season."

In fairness to Doncic, he's preparing for a playoff game and may not want to discuss his future in another league right now. But, the quote is attention-grabbing, especially when the lottery played out the way it did.

Would Doncic want to play for the Sacramento Kings, who moved up five spots, and currently own the No. 2 pick? Maybe not. But, there's really no way to know what his intentions were when he made the comments.

We'll know more after the Euroleague finals are completed on May 20.

Donic is slated to be picked in the top-3 of most mock drafts.
