DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Cowboys owner Jerry Jones joined Shan and RJ Tuesday morning for his first weekly appearance on 105. 3 The Fan.

Jones was asked about former receiver Dez Bryant and his thoughts on why he doesn't have a job yet.

"I am surprised. He has the skills to help a team. I don't know what kind of shape Dez is in. Knowing Dez and how hard he works, I'll bet he's in really fine shape at this point to join an NFL team. It would not surprise me to see him joining a team at this juncture because these rosters are now getting made. We're getting down to the roster-building time. ... I think he'll be on a team."

Bryant met with the Cleveland Browns last Thursday and Friday but left without a contract.

Cleveland received a boost to it's receiving core over the weekend when Josh Gordon announced that he would be returning to training camp.

Browns head coach Hue Jackson said Gordon's return has no effect on the team's interest in Bryant.
