FRISCO (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys have moved forward after cutting wide receiver Dez Bryant, and they won't be turning back.

When asked at the team's pre-draft press conference Tuesday if the team had any interest in the star receiver making a return since he has yet to find a home since being cut on April 13, Jerry Jones made it clear that Dez was done in Dallas.

"I think we need to keep this real crisp and the lines real bright," Jones said. "We need to move on knowing we don't have Dez."

When discussing the timing of the club's decision to release Bryant late in free agency, Jones initially said he didn't have any thoughts on it, before adding that the timing was right.

“I have no thoughts about the timing when we decided to move on,” Jones initially said. "I think for everyone concerned, it was as a good a time as any from the end of the season."
