DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has always shown an interest in his former players and that certainly hasn't changed with Dez Bryant.

Jones and Bryant made headlines earlier this week when they were spotted sitting in a suite at AT&T Stadium for the Jay-Z and Beyonce concert.

"I knew he was gonna be there. It would have been a surprise for him not to be there," Jones said on the GBAG Nation on 105.3 The Fan.

Jones pointed out that he is known to visit with former players about business and just to keep up with how they are doing, so it's not uncommon for him to hang out with the former Cowboys receiver.

"Life is just one of relationships," Jones said. "Some of the best friends I have are former players.”

When asked about Byrant's future in the NFL, Jones said it didn't come up.

"We didn't talk about football. With Dez, that's not uncommon. With Dez, a nice percentage of our conversations over the years football didn't come up, and we had other things to talk about."
