October 07, 2018 - 11:32 pm

HOUSTON (105.3 The Fan) - Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said following the team's loss to the Houston Texans that he felt they should have went for it on fourth down in overtime when head coach Jason Garrett elected to punt it away on 4th and 1 on the Texans' 42-yard line.

"We were being outplayed ... not out-efforted  ... but we were just being outplayed and it's time for risk at that particular time," Jones said. "That's not second guessing, but we were taking some risks too at certain points in the game ... we're all extremly disappointed."

On the ensuing drive, Deshaun Watson connected with receiver DeAndre Hopkins on a 49-yard back-breaking play to help set up the winning field goal by Ka'imi Fairbairn.
