LOS ANGELES (105.3 The Fan) - Ezekiel Elliott had no room to run against the Los Angeles Rams front-seven in tonight's 30-22 Divisional Round loss.

Elliott was held to just 47 yards rushing on the ground, his second-lowest output of the season, against a Rams defense that gave up 122 yards per game to running backs in the regular season.

"That defense didn't play that way today. I think you saw big 93 (Ndamukong Suh) out there today. They did a great job today up front stopping the run," Elliott said. "You guys kept asking me about stats at (the Rams giving up) 5.1 yard per carry all week and I told you it's playoff football and none of that s*** matters anymore. They came out and they played better than us. They were better than us tonight."

Despite the tough night, Elliott was pleased with how well the team picked themselves up in the middle of the season when everyone had counted them out.

"I'm very proud of this team. We had a lot of adversity this season. I thought we did a great job handling it," Elliott said. "We started out 3-5 and nobody thought ever thought we would’ve been here. We came up short today, but I’m proud of these guys. We fought all season. We fought until that clock hit zero tonight."
