DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Things didn't go quite as planned when Dirk Nowitzki sent a text to his trainer about offseason workouts.

After Dirk said he was inspired by Indiana Pacer's star Victor Oladipo's text to his trainer less than 20 minutes after his team was eliminated from the playoffs by the Cleveland Cavaliers, he decided to send a similar message to his trainer to discuss their plans for the offseason.

I can’t make this shit up! Look at the time on this text, this dude probably hasn’t even showered yet after playing one of the biggest games of his young career and he’s already trying to get back to work! You young athletes out there take notes... @vicoladipo I’m sending you the jet, we start tonight! -- ************************************************ ----And Yes I had his name misspelled in my phone, it’s been that way from day one and left it like that--

Instead of setting up a plan, Mike Procopio, the Director of Player Development for the Dallas Mavericks, decided to take some jabs at the 39-year-old future hall of famer.
