DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys will open their 2020 NFL preseason in Canton, Ohio, at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to reports.

The game will take place Thursday, August 6th at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.

"We are very excited about being named to play in the Hall of Fame Game this year," team owner Jerry Jones said, via Rob Phillips of DallasCowboys.com. "When we learned that Jimmy Johnson would be involved in the August (and not September) ceremony in Canton, we approached the Hall of Fame and expressed a strong interest in being a part of honoring his legacy and induction by bringing our team and Cowboys fans to Canton."

The Cowboys will report to Oxnard, California, for the start of training camp on July 21.
