After originally suffering the injury in the second quarter, Williams attempted to re-enter the game in the second half, only to be taken back out after a false start penalty.
Following his second exit for the game, Williams headed to the locker room, and would not return.
Tests later confirmed the torn ACL in Williams' right knee, ending his season.
Williams is scheduled for surgery at some point in the next 2-4 weeks and will be replaced in the starting line up by Xavier Su'a Filo.
Su'a Filo struggled earlier in the season while filling in for Williams after an arthroscopic knee procedure on his left knee on November 12th.
The Cowboys return to the field next Thursday against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.
