November 14, 2018 - 4:26 pm

FRISCO (105.3 The Fan) - The Cowboys practice report for Wednesday is out and it's rather lengthy.

Nine players didn't participate at the team's first practice of the week ahead of their matchup with the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday.

Left tackle Tyron Smith (back) and right guard Zack Martin (knee) were among the players that sat out, but both players are expected to play.

Dallas did get some good news as left guard Connor Williams returned to practice after missing Sunday's win over the Eagles to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his knee.

Linebacker Joe Thomas was limited with a foot injury, and defensive end Randy Gregory and tight end Geoff Swaim were full participants despite their knee ailments.

Defensive end Taco Charlton (shoulder), defensive tackle Maliek Collins (knee), receiver Tavon Austin (groin), defensive tackle David Irving (ankle), linebacker Sean Lee (hamstring), defensive end Daniel Ross (calf) and defensive tackle Antwaun Woods (concussion) were the other players that didn't participate Wednesday.
