Cowboys Looking At Options At WR, Including Brice Butler

September 16, 2018 - 4:32 pm

ARLINGTON (105.3 The Fan) - According to 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher, the Dallas Cowboys are exploring their options at wide receiver and a familiar face could be in the cards.

No it's not Dez Bryant ... But former wideout Brice Butler has peaked the Cowboys interest, according to the Athletic DFW.

Butler, who was with Dallas last season, was cut by Arizona Cardinals prior to the beginning of the regular season after signing with them as a free agent this offseason.

Butler spent the last three seasons with the Cowboys. He had three touchdowns and 15 total catches for 317 yards in 2017.

As for Cleveland Browns receiver Josh Gordon, Fish says the Cowboys are currently interested in opening that door despite Gordon having an interest in being traded to Dallas, as reported my multiple reporters.

This is a developing news story.
