Cowboys Leaning Toward Starting Su'a-Filo At Left Guard

FRISCO (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys are leaning toward starting Xavier Su'a-Filo at left guard in Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, COO Stephen Jones told 105.3 The Fan on Friday.

Su'a-Filo will take the place of injured rookie lineman Connor Williams, who had to undergo arthoscopic surgery on his knee this week.

Su'a-Filo was selected by the Houston Texans in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft and started 41 games in his four seasons there. Su'a-Filo signed a one-year deal with the Tennesse Titans this offseason but was cut on September 1.

Dallas had signed Su'a-Filo after Parker Ehringer went on IR with a knee injury. He hasn't appeared in any games with the Cowboys since being signed.
