FRISCO (105.3 The Fan) - Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee continues to insist that he will play Sunday at Seattle, but the team official Friday injury report has him listed as "questionable.''

"We are thinking he is going to play,'' however, said team owner Jerry Jones, echoing Lee's own sentiment.

Meanwhile, as we reported earlier this week, receiver Cole Beasley sustained an ankle injury late in the Wednesday workout and he is also listed as "questionable'' for the meeting with the 0-2 Seahawks.

Lee, dealing with hamstring tightness, missed practice Wednesday before returning on a limited basis Thursday and Friday. He sustained the ailment late in last Sunday's win over the Giants.

Free safety Xavier Woods is expected to make his 2018 debut, and will likely start alongside Jeff Heath in the backfield, with Kavon Frazier rotating in. (And of course, lots of observers will have their eyes on another safety, from the other team, Seattle All-Pro Earl Thomas, long a subject of Cowboys-Seahawks trade talks and rumors.) Woods is, however, officially listed as "questionable'' with a hamstring injury that has lingered since the team’s third preseason game.

The Cowboys will play without defensive tackle Maliek Collins, who missed practice all week with a knee injury, but do expect help inside from the healthy tandem of Daniel Ross and Datone Jones. The defensive line should also be bolstered by the return of pass-rushing end Randy Gregory, who sustained a concussion for the 1-1 Cowboys in the Week 1 loss at Carolina; Jones termed him a "game-time decision.''

And of course, Pro Bowl center Travis Frederick remains on the 53-man roster but won't be on the 46-man active list at Seattle as he continues treatment for Guillain-Barré Syndrome.
