DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The voice of the Cowboys, Brad Sham, believes football will be played in 2020.

"I've never thought that there would be fans. Based on what we know now. I do feel reasonably good about the season being played," he said on Shan and RJ Tuesday. "I think there will be some medications that will have been developed at some point possibly during the season. The one view I would take now that I don't know if I would have expected in early April is that I think we now have to prepare for each team having some players testing positive and quarentining."

Sham was asked if he expects to travel to road cities to call games but he says he and the powers that be have yet to discuss it.

The other biggest topic of the offseason are the on-going social justice conversations. Several notable figures in the sports community, including San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and San Francisco 49ers star Richard Sherman, have expressed their displeasure with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones who has yet to speak out publicly after the death of George Floyd sparked protests across the country.
