DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys can only go as far as Dak Prescott takes them. As the quarterback of 'America's Team', not only does Prescott occupy one of the most high-profile and high-pressure jobs on the planet, he also is the key to everything the franchise wants to accomplish moving forward.

Though they are built behind a strong running game, the Cowboys coaching staff and decision-makers made a decision to make Prescott and the passing the focus of the offense, so when his health became a concern earlier this week, the Cowboys postseason prospects suddenly came into doubt.

Following the panic, however, there was good news released throughout the week in regards to Prescott's status, and on Friday afternoon, Cowboys COO Stephen Jones took another step to reassure the masses about his star quarterback's status for Sunday's de facto 'NFC East Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

"No player at this point of the season is at 100%," Jones said in his interview with GBag Nation on 105.3 The Fan. "Knowing Dak, his competitive nature, we'll get his best. He'll be ready to compete at the highest level. There's no one I'd rather have under center than him."

But just how effective could Prescott be with his injuries? Jones answered those questions as well, ensuring that the Cowboys offense would be fully equipped for their trip to Philadelphia.

"We'll have the full playbook open," Jones to the Fan. "We had a lot of conversations with our trainers and with everybody in making sure that's the case, and everybody feels that way."

With a 5-2 career record against the Eagles, Prescott will attempt to lead the Cowboys to their third NFC East title in four seasons on Sunday, and as a result, a second consecutive playoff birth for the first time in over a decade.
