DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Following Dez Bryant's release from the Dallas Cowboys on Friday, speculation was rampant about what was coming next for the wideout.

According to 105.3 The Fan Cowboys insider Mickey Spagnola, Bryant said, "I'll see you guys twice this year," after walking out of his meeting with owner Jerry Jones at The Star in Frisco.

A short time later, 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher tweeted that Bryant's release was official and that Dez will try and find a way to play against Dallas in 2018.

Bryant responded to Fish's tweet by saying, "? Twice? Let's see."

Bryant also expressed his love for Cowboys fans on Twitter and voiced his displeasure over being released.

"Cowboy nation I need you to know this wasn't my decision.. I will always love y'all... forever Dallas in my heart," Bryant said. "If I didn't have my edge I got it now... I'm sorry they got to feel me it's personal... it's very personal," he added.
