FRISCO (105.3 THE FAN) - The 2018 Dallas Cowboys have some key decisions to make. But first, they have some key dates to make.

Dallas, coming off a 9-7 season and trying to rebound to the NFL Playoffs, will continue the process of doing so this week with the first of three sets of OTAs. Those sessions, scheduled for inside The Star in Frisco, are scheduled thusly:

*Tuesday, May 22, through the 24th

*May 29 thouth May 31

*June 4 through 6.

Then comes a minicamp ...

*June 12 - 14: Mandatory minicamp

And then a brief break before we all pack our bags for three weeks of training camp in Oxnard. And yes, 105.3 The Fan will be embedded with the Cowboys from the very first day to the last, at home, on the road, all practices and all games ...

*July 26: tentative first day of Training Camp in Oxnard.

There are some other days worth noting for the front office, like June 1, when a team can release a player and lessen its cap load, and July 16, the deadline to strike a new deal with a franchise-tagged player (in Dallas' case, DeMarcus Lawrence). But most notable to the many of us who set our clocks by the Cowboys' activities schedule?

Football is here.
