DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - How badly does Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones want to win another Super Bowl?

Cowboys team owner and General Manager Jerry Jones spoke with The Fan's Shan & RJ show and said the size of the check he would be willing to write for another Super Bowl win would be "embarrassing."

"It would be shocking if you knew the size of the check I would write if it guaranteed me a Super Bowl" said Jones. "It would be obscene. There is nothing I would do financially to get a Super Bowl.”

Jones made the comments following a report that he would trade his Pro Football Hall of Fame status for the Cowboys to win another Super Bowl.

"Years ago I wanted that third Super Bowl so bad I said if you (the man upstairs) give me one more, ill never ask again" said Jones. "I find myself trying to retrade that trade for the last twenty-somthing years."

Jones goes on to say that making the Cowboys 'attractive' as a team to bring in players and coaches is his first priority. "I can say without equivocation that nobody has tried more financially, in pro football - not armature, no one does anymore than we do take the financial (sic) and put a winning team on the field."
