DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Dallas Cowboys Center Travis Frederick joined the Ben and Skin Show Monday for his weekly appearance on 105.3 The Fan.

Frederick was asked about his first regular-season game since he sat out the entire 2018 campaign with Gianne-Barre syndrome, the Cowboys offense, and his love for Dungeons and Dragons.

Here are some of the highlights:

What was it like to be back on the field for a regular-season game?

"I tell ya... it was really special to be back out there," Frederick said. "Having spent that time away... when you're not out on the field with the guys... I was doing my best to stay connected. You really feel a little disconnected sometimes, and when you get a chance to be a part of that, be a part of the sacrifice and the battle, it really makes you feel like you are a part of the family again."

Did you feel like you're back to being the same player as before?

"It's really hard to say off of one game where we're at. I'm happy with what I put out there. it certainly wasn't my best game, and there's a long way to go, but it's a good base for me to be able to grow throughout the course of the year."
